Hairy Moments
My hair was way overdue for a cut and highlights but the hairdresser that usually cuts my hair has got herself a salon which meant an increase in the cost. Too much for me really. Which meant my hair has been awful for the past few weeks and I have just been scrunching in back in a ponytail.
When I met up with a friend a few weeks ago she had had her hair cut and after admiring it, decided that's where I would go and have mine cut. However there was a mix up in the text messages that followed and I booked an appointment at the wrong salon and only realised it five minutes before my appointment!
I even considered cancelling - as I am a right panicker about who cuts my hair. So with trepidation in I went and I came out looking like this (thankfully)
Back to being a "natural" blonde again!

I feel for you I'm "between" hairdressers at the moment, can't afford to visit a salon for lowlights and a cut so I've used mobile hairdressers for years. I'm going to a new one next week, I'm desperate for some colour. Love your blonde, and nice to see a picture of you!

Hi Samantha!
Love the haircut and colour - I've not had my hair cut for almost a year! Like you I find it a bit nerve wracking, I'd gone to the same hair dresser for almost 10 years and then we moved! So, I've tried out one new one and been recommended another, just trying to get the courage ( and pennies!) to go!
Love your outfit, really like the colours!

hi,
love the haircut, I really need mine doing too but my hairdresser is on maternity leave so will have to wait till she comes back to work. I'm a natural redhead myself but need to save some more pennies to keep it that way..

Love the hair - I have just tried a new hairdresser and thankfully she's great - I know what you mean about the trepidation!

Well, you look great! I am a "wear a hat on my head" girl these days-and not just because of the freezing weather!

You look very nice.
Mine needs a cut too because I say it's too long for my age. But everytime I wash it, it curlies up and doesn't look so long. So, I keep procrastinating about it because I'm afraid of the cut.

Your new haircut looks lovely. I know that feeling of being between hairdressers. I've changed mine a few times in the last year and a half and just haven't found the right one. It's meant my hair has got longer and longer and looks totally unstyled. So tomorrow I'm going for an appointment with the hairdresser that cuts my Sisters hair. It's not exactly local to me but as I go over there a lot it's not inconvenient. She cuts my Sisters hair beautifully so I'm hoping she's going to work wonders on mine! I might even go quite a bit shorter. Not sure I'd be daring enough as you though and post pictures on my blog!

at least the mix up gave you a story and gave me a giggle! not on purpose, i swear. Who goes to bloody REDZ when she has been told CUT and STYLED, anyway??? Next time just come to me, i'll experiment! You were very brave to stay after spotting the bearded woman having a barber trim...
