Badges
After several months thinking, I took the plunge and my new toy arrived Friday. And guess what I made with it?
Badges. Each badge has been made using fabrics from my stash.
They are a combination of vintage fabrics and 1930s reproduction fabrics.
The badges are in a set of three and come mounted on a presentation card.
Small enough to pop into a Christmas card and post. Perfect for a stocking filler or even as a present to yourself. Because you deserve it, don't you?
Best of all, they're here .

They look wonderful Samantha, what a fabulous idea.

Wonderful loveliness Samantha!. Button makers are FAB aren't they? I had to lock mine away, it was getting to be a bit of a distraction :(

Great badges. I can see that this could get addictive.
Thanks for visiting my blog and admiring our cats (well, I'm assuming you admired them; they are exceptionally admirable). Yes, we actually put rugs - fleecy ones, not actual sheep - in their igloos too. Oh, you think that cats have fur and that ought to be enough? Well, possibly...

hi! I read your blog but don't think I have ever left a comment before (so.. hi!) I was intrigued to see what the fabric (lovely stash!) would turn into - badges! They are the sweetest! Love the presentation too.

Hi Samantha,
Your badges are delightful. I love the fabric prints you use too ~ I wish I knew where to buy pretty fabrics, as the choice here is very limited.

What gorgeous badges! I love the vintage fabric you have used. What machine have you purchased? I'd love to get a badge machine but haven't found any here in Australia.

They're cute - would look great on a bag. I used badge making when I used to run a youth project - great for fairs where there would be all ages. Quite amusing seeing a load of "well 'ard" teenages all scramling to make badges...

They look lovely. Gorgeous colours. I'm sure they will be popular.
Is your arm aching yet? I've just had a mammoth badge making session and one arm is definately looking beefier than the other!
