Uphill all the way
So much for the promised shop update yesterday. The lack of it was due to the fact that I caught the bug that Ethan had and spent the entire day in bed. Actually that's not true. I alternated between the bed and being sick in the bathroom.
I managed to take Keanan to school and Stephen finished early to collect him and give the boys supper. Otherwise they would have had to make beans on toast themselves. I woke up this morning feeling better - tired but better. But the state of the house was unbelievable. What happened? I was only ill for one day! After a frenetic tidying session, the house is back to normal and I spent the whole of today updating my website. And what a herculean task that turned out to be. So please bear with me, ignore the mistakes and pop over and have a peek.
As well as goodies I have made, I have updated a few items of vintage loveliness that I couldn't resist on my trips out.
Items such as these:
This adorable tote bag made from vintage fabrics
Remember the children's vintage hangers ?
I made a cushion cover from beautiful Anna French fabric
This sewing kit would make the perfect Christmas gift for somone
And my favourites: vintage handknitted dolly clothes
The only problem is which colour do you like best?

I've already commented over on flickr about these delightful new items.
Every single one is so sweet!
I hope you continue to be on the mend, and make sure to take a little time out for yourself.
Be well ~ Kali

The pink and gold would have to be my favourite, it's gorgeous and the most striking. the site looks great. I don't think I've left you a comment for a VERY long time, but I read your blog a lot and it really does inspire me to do my own crafts.

That's the thing about being a mum, you not allowed to be ill, there's just not enough time!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I went to london yesterday and during a visit to the haberdashery dept in Libertys I spied your pin cushions, and needle cases, my sister loved them and I took a crafty picture on my mobile.
I'm just going to have a look at your website now with a cup of tea before I start work

I hope you are feeling better!
I just had my four all sick and on meds.
Don't worry about the house... to look around my house now... I just want to cry!

Hi, I love all the dolly clothes. They remind me that I have some that used to belong to Emily when she was a little girl that she had for her dolly...must look then out. Hope you're feeling much better.

Sorry to hear you've not been well. I hate that feeling of "I'll never be well again, waaaaaah!" when I'm sick.... Loving all the stuff, spesh the sewing kit and cushion :)

I do hope that you are feeling better...there is really nothing worse than being sick.
Lovely gift ideas ~ I like the pink outfit, but then I guess that I am a pink sort of girl!
